Handmade card

They are sheets of hand-made paper, very fragile and delicate that I have assembled in abstract and colored compositions according to the informal style.

I was able to learn the ancient art of making paper by hand within the course of "theory and practice of artistic therapeutics" at the Brera academy, conducted very well by professor Gaetano Fanelli.

It is a technique with a high therapeutic potential because it implies a slow and harmonic gesture. The recycled paper is reduced to a pulp, then mixed with the color and spread out to dry.
