sale of paintings painting drawings italy

These paintings were made quickly, in minutes.

I use the brush like a pencil, dry, draw the shapes and light and dark.

There is no draft, there is no project, everything gets confused and becomes urgent, urgent, everything transpires, everything comes to the surface.

I don't care about the details of things, I want to understand the world through painting, understand myself and what I want from the world.

So I understand what I like and what I don't like and maybe others do too.

I love the truth more than anything else.

The truth of the image, the truth that communicates the image.

The colors are always the same, the primary ones.

Like human presences, they quarrel and fight among themselves, they do not merge, they are individualities in contrast.

With the spatula and the brush I work the color.

The dry brush scrapes the canvas, dry as my soul trudging through the world.

These are the first years in Milan, away from home, thrown into the world without any protection.

I study the history of art a lot.

Painting and visual art in general uses a cryptic language which,

when you understand the codes, it lets you enter a fascinating world full of possibilities.

The great artists tell us about the world and its spirituality, the world and its decadence, through their works. So I understand that art and in this case painting can free you, make you feel good.

You can communicate uncomfortable content, uncomfortable emotions in a harmless way.

You can stab a canvas, cover it in red, pour glue and plaster over it, make a hole in it,

pouring into the paint hole, drawing the soft and flabby flesh of a woman or a man without inhibition, talking about sex, suffering, joy without ever naming them. Through the colors. Draw madness, madness, without harming anyone; therefore, I bless painting and all art.
